A Message from your Commodore:
PLEASE BRING ANY SILENT AUCTION ITEMS YOU HAVE TO THE MEMBER MEETING, MONDAY, SEPT. 25. They do NOT need to be nautical only. Check your home and boat for any new or gently used items in good condition that might sell at the BFO. In addition, ASK YOUR SERVICE PEOPLE, NEIGHBORS, CO-WORKERS for items, samples, or gift certificates that you can bring to Monday's meeting or arrange to get to us soon. Your Commodore will pick them up, if needed. Restaurants, nail or hair salon, boutiques, shops and stores of any kind... Create your own little "gift basket" - collection of small items, old gift cards you haven't used, anything. You'd be surprised at what people will bid on, especially when they think they're getting a deal.
This is one of our MOST IMPORTANT meetings of the year. Please RSVP to Joyce at SailingHighCs@aol.com for how many in your party will attend. We expect this to be a big turn out, and we need to let Dave & Busters know how many wait-staff to schedule for Monday night. We hope to see all you racers, and we especially need those NOT racing in the BFO, as you are so important to us at this time of year! Invite someone to come along.
