Welcome to Barefoot Sailing Club (BFSC) on Lake Lanier, Georgia.
Founded in 1971 (55 years ago!), we originally focused on dinghy racing. But, over the years have expanded much further. Members enjoy racing on cruisers and racing boats, cruising around the lake and rafting up for social activities.

2024 Spring Series (April 4, 2024) - Mark and Lee racing S/V Taka
Saturday 2/21 BFSC Spring 2 and Blessing of the Fleet. Skippers meeting at 11am next to Pig Tales at Aqualand. Base time will be pushed back appx. 15-30 minutes (depending on participants and conditions) to allow boats to partake in the blessing of the fleet near X mark.
