BFSC COVID-19 Policy:

Updated June 20, 2021

Barefoot Sailing Club wishes to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission at its events. The safety of our members and their guests are our primary concern during the pandemic. All skippers and their crew/guests should follow the CDC, State of Georgia and local guidance, such as use of face masks, hand-washing and social distancing, especially when on land.

  • Racing and Cruising has resumed with Skippers determining how many and which crew are welcome aboard their boats (e.g. some may require masking, others may require fully vaccinated crew).

  • Club sponsored social events are slowly resuming in outdoor venues. Members should assess their personal risk before attending any gatherings.

  • All Skippers and Crew will sign the COVID-19 risk waiver of liability before leaving the dock.

The COVID-19 risk waiver is here, and should be signed, dated and returned to the BFSC Vice-Commodore at tbeachem(at)

April 2022 Belize Cruise

boat drinks 6.jpg

Eight-day charter in Belize planned for April 24  to May 2nd, 2022.  One last double cabin remaining on the first boat that has already been reserved.  If you are interested, contact our Cruise Captain.  See the links below for a proposed itinerary and description and pictures of the first boat.  Smaller monohulls and 3 cabin catamarans may be an option for a 2nd boat. Costs per cabin should be similar.

We would like to get a 2nd boat reserved.  If you can get 3 or 4 more couples to crew a second boat, we can arrange to charter together.   Read More >>
