Don Martin Memorial
Lifetime Achievement Award - Lisa Schoer
December 7, 2025

Past Commodore Lisa Schoer
"Each year, the BFSC Commodore may present the Life Achievement Award to a deserving member who has contributed to the sport of sailing over a number of years and in a number of ways. The award is given in memory of Don Martin.
In my few years with Barefoot, this person has made a great impression on me. An avid sailor from youth, with experience on multiple Georgia lakes and blue water sailing in the Atlantic.
Having served Barefoot as Social Captain, Vice Commodore (abruptly promoted to Commodore when the then Commodore moved out of state), then officially as Commodore. I am proud to present the Don Martin Lifetime Achievement award to Lisa Schoer."
