About the event
The University Yacht Club, in coordination with the UYC Maritime Foundation, Inc., warmly invites the members of Barefoot Sailing Club to join us for a comprehensive presentation on the America’s Cup sailing competition presented by Tucker Thompson, awarding-winning TV sailing commentator, former America Cup competitor and host of the 35th America’s Cup.
This event will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026, 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the University Yacht Club, Carswell Pavilion with a wine and cheese reception to follow.
We are committed to welcoming as many members as possible from the Lake Lanier sailing community to share in this unique experience and enjoy the hospitality of the University Yacht Club and UYC Maritime Foundation.
