About the event
We are having our annual Steak Out on one of the Lake Lanier islands (TBD). We will stake out our stretch of beach (34.2139501, -83.9896460) in advance and will let you know on the day. Then we will have music, games and food. PLEASE NOTE that keelboats > 5’ cannot sail directly into the cove.
Meet at Aqualand "V" dock at 11:00 AM to drop off your lawn chairs and any other gear you need shuttled over to the island. Then sail for a couple hours, if you wish. We will be using 3 pontoon boats to move people and gear to the site. If you are not planning to bring your own boat, Hop a ride to the island with us on one of the pontoon boats (we will have 2-3). We can shuttle you back when the party is over.
