Sail Rats Cook 'N Cruise

Lake Lanier Sail Rats' Cook N Cruise is only a week away. Have you made your choice of what you are cooking? You may enter in one or all categories. Margaritaville is excited to have the fleet visit.

Cook n Cruise Rules

Feb. 17th. 11:00 to 4:00

This is a Rain, Freeze or Shine event. Every Sailor on this planet is welcome to participate.

1. All entries must be made from scratch while under sail. No pre measuring or preparation.
2. You may enter either and or all categories. (Appetizer, Entree, Dessert, Cocktail).
3. You must turn in 5 samples of each entry for the 5 judges.
4. All boats will rendezvous off of Port Royal by 10:30.
5. Cooking starts at 11:00 under sail. (Starting announcement will be made on channel 68)
6. All sailboats must start sailing to Margaritaville at 11:00.
7. At 2:00, all boats must start motoring to the docks at Margaritaville to meet the 2:30 deadline. No motors can start prior to 2:00.
8. Entries must be delivered from the dock to Land Shark by 2:30.
9. Judges will sample all entries and score under:  A. Presentation  B. Difficulty  C. Flavor

Margaritaville is handing over Landshark for us to enjoy. More fun to follow.
