Purpose:

• To provide interested members and non-members the opportunity to learn/sail with a qualified

skipper.

• To provide skippers and their designees the opportunity to recruit non-members to the club.

Whom we are looking for:
 

• Skippers who are willing to bring novice and semi-experienced crew on board to demonstrate

the basics of sailing and/or expand the knowledge base of those that may have experience.

*Sail will be in the morning, and moonlight race in the evening
** Race is on August 5. We will hold the Sail the next day, Sunday, August 6, 2023

What is involved:
We ask that you look closely at your upcoming activity schedule. Please respond only if you are certain
you can help on the dates committed to sailing. We understand emergencies occur, but being one of the
primary functions of recruitment and fun for our members, we need to make sure if you sign up, you can
make it. I will also ask for two skippers to be held in reserve, just in case. A “reserve” Skipper will be able
to sail anytime.
